Did you know that if you are able to transition change well, it helps your confidence level?  Seems like a no-brainer doesn’t it and yet very rarely do we help our employees (or ourselves) learn how to manage change effectively.

Considering we live in a world of constant change in either our personal or business lives – I’m surprised it hasn’t been addressed more often.

I’m really excited to be putting the finishing touches to my presentation to give to the Women’s Networking Groups at Origin Energy in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.  I’ll be addressing how they can manage change better to increase their confidence levels so they participate more in meetings, apply for promotions and generally become more resilient when comes to managing change.

In fact, did you know that according to the latest Validation Report from Extended DISC (the psychometric tool used to create personal and organisational change which I use in my business)  57% of women in Australasia fall into two categories who are very uncomfortable with change unless rolled out in a logical and planned manner.

The other 43% percent will lose confidence at some stage in their lives when having to deal with unexpected change such as divorce, serious sickness or major upheaval.  So even your most confident employees will lose productivity unless they know how to manage change effectively.

This applies men as well, however the numbers are a little different.

Origin has also signed up for our Corporate Membership for all their women to do online training. Each participant will receive a full set of my 12 personal development eBooks and have access to a private Facebook page to ask any questions during their 12-month membership.  I can’t wait for everyone to get started.

I’m also meeting with senior Managers in each location to discuss their challenges surrounding diversity.  I have to say this is going to be one amazing road trip!

If you would like to discuss the needs of your team or organisation, send me an email to Glenise.anderson@srgroup.net.au

Until next time
