Wow, what a whirlwind few weeks I’ve had. IT all started off with spending time in Sydney at a 3-day bootcamp to hone my speaking skills (more about that later) and then a few days in Auckland to attend the Dress for Success (DFS) Australia/New Zealand Conference.

I’m proud to announce that I am now a Business Partner of Dress for Success – Australia and New Zealand and will be providing 12-months free membership to my online training eCourses to unemployed women registered with DfS.

If you haven’t already heard of Dress For Success, they are a global not-for-profit organisation, who have helped over 1 million women around the world since it was founded in 1997. Their mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

My world-class online training, which is used by individual women and companies such as Origin Energy, LCR Group and Pizzinga & Associates, will help these women gain and retain employment over the coming 12 months.

Over the coming weeks, I will put a page on my website with more information about this wonderful organisation, however in the meantime if you would like to know more go towww.dressforsuccess.org. If you would like to know more about the online training programs for your staff, click here.

On the speaking front, I had a great time travelling to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to speak with the staff at Origin Energy. There is nothing like being on the ground, speaking with people to get their thoughts and hear their issues about what’s happening.

As I mentioned earlier, in my quest for continuous improvement I attended another 3-day bootcamp with the Speakers Institute to take my speaking to another level. This time we were lucky enough to have representatives from TedX Melbourne, the CEO Institute and Speakers Bureaus to come and listen and give us feedback.

With so many things happening in our lives and being spread so thinly in our personal and business lives, I decided to speak about Handling Pressure Like a Pro. If you have a spare 15 minutes or so, click here to listen to what I had to say and if you have a moment, let me know what you think.

If you would like to speak to me about Dress for Success or Speaking Engagements for your company, contact me by return email or call on +61 418 482 450.

Until next time.
